I have the most boring english teacher ever created and he made us read it 4 class i cant standan't stand this teacher
Did u read Where the Red Fern Grows? What do u think of it? I think its a boring book i read it for english?
What grade are you in? I was in fifth grade when my teacher read it to our class and she started crying at the end when the dog dies. I remember liking it but just as a story; if I had to do any assignments with it, I probably wouldn't have liked it either. I was an English teacher for 7 years and it is a book that should be for elementary school only. If you are in Junior High or High School, your English teacher doesn't seem to know how to pick age-appropriate books for class. Don't give up on reading or English just because you have one bad teacher; read what you want to on your own time and don't let crappy adults ruin it for you.
Reply:Wow you're reading that in 7th grade? We read that book in class in fourth grade. I always liked the book. It's one of my favorites. Don't know why you don't like it.
Reply:I really enjoyed it. I read it for pleasure when I was 9 (I'm now 14), and though it's an easy read, I absolutely love it and it's one of the few books I've read more than once, and the only book I've read more than 4 times...It's truly wonderful! :)
Reply:Ha. I remember reading that book in fifth grade and then watching the movie. It was a very sad book.
So quit yer bitchin' about how "boring" it is and go to the library and read some books you like.
Reply:Its a standard book to read when in school. I remember reading it when in 3rd grade, my daughter read it about the same age. It is a great book, could just be that you were fored to read it, try it again sometime on your own.
