all ferns should stay moist yet well drained... if its in a pot... maybe every day or about every other day... just keep an eye on it...and don't let it dry out...
How much should you water a maidens hair fern?
It depends on the amount of sun it gets, the warmth of the room it's in, and it's size. Mist it daily, in the early morning, poke your finger one inch into the soil, before misting. If the soil is moist, do not water. You can still mist.
