im doing an essay for where the red fern grows about the theme and i got love beyond loyalty but i got stuck and i don't know what to include in it.

Another theme could be loss you could tie in to the love theme that the consequence of loving somethings is losing it. Also it is a coming of age story. You could talk about how the boy (I can't remember his name) by losing Ann and Dan was forced to grow up. I know Sparknotes should have that particular book, you should check out the website and see if they have more themes and ideas.
